well, the nelson ciron farewell show is a good six months late, but it’s finally happening next saturday night, may 29 and we are making sure nelson goes out in style. everything takes place at indre studios in philadelphia, home of Y100’s sonic sessions, PHI’s behind the beats and WXPN’s live at the world cafe. go to the website, it’s an amazing space and tons of great artists have performed there from tori amos to warren zevon.
if that wasn’t enough, we’re lucky enough to have some extra special performances by some of our best friends. the first is cameron (guitarist nick franklin, pat mccay from the silence kit, joe decarolis from bridge made of bats w/ christian nelson of BMOB sitting in on drums) getting back together for this show. the other is badditude, made up of members of several of u.s. rail’s aaron delarosa’s old bands (u.s. rail, new invisibles, spysmasher, clark). if you know me at all you know that i’m not given to hyperbole but this is going to be a one of kind show. come on out and bring everyone you know.
